WE ARE STILL PARTYIN' DESPITE THE BAD WEATHER!
Attention party people! Get your single sequined glove out of storage and practice your moonwalk! Cause for a Dance Party will be hosting a party in honor of Project Create DC (http://www.projectcreatedc.org/) at the Darlington House in Dupont Circle. Dance the night away with us for a great cause.
The low down: Project Create DC is committed to enriching and transforming the lives of at-risk children in Washington, DC by providing them with professionally-led arts experiences.
Details:
-Drink specials to help get people on the dancefloor
-DJ Random is spinning everything from Top 40 to 80's to funk to soul to yacht rock to hip hop - Just really fun music.
-Did I mention there's a disco ball?!
-It is free to RSVP, $5 minimum donation at the door
-All door proceeds go directly to Project Create DC
-The theme of this party is Michael Jackson, his music, influences, who he influenced, etc. Expect a lot of awesome tunes!
-The party will be located in their Library room on the second floor

-John Chu, a DC based dance instructor has decided to donate his skills in teaching the Thriller dance to anyone interested in learning it. About the instructor: John Chu danced professionally in New York City and was taught by one of Michael Jackson’s choreographers. John recently helped teach the Thriller for the Guinness World Record-breaking Thrill the World event and brings a fun, enthusiastic style to his teaching.

Cause for a Dance Party was founded to combine nightlife and charitable giving. We plan to host several parties per year at venues across the Washington DC area. The goal is to have a great time and raise money and awareness about various charities in the process.
